Vilamoura, Portugal – Another world record, Vilamoura is hosting the biggest ILCA Under 21 World Championship ever.
238 sailors from 45 countries will be sailing in the upcoming days the biggest World Championship Under 21 in the long history of the class.
The event is already underway, with equipment inspections completed and registration finalized, races will start tomorrow at 12:00.
The opening ceremony occurred this afternoon in the Marina of Vilamoura. Music, speeches and a buffet served for all sailors and supporters. Two fleets of Men’s and one fleet of Women will be sailing from the 23rd August till 28th August, two races scheduled on each day in Vilamoura, Portugal.
